*THE NEW K CHRONICLES COLLECTION IS AT THE PRINTER!!
Sorry for all the comic strip repeats, but I’ve been burning the midnight oil putting together the brand new K Chronicles collection the Incredible Cuteness of Being. This collection was by far the hardest one to put together. A lot of the strips had to be tweaked and cleaned up because they were drawn so poorly. Especially the ones right around when my kid was born, and my daily strip was launched… I was getting NO sleep whatsoever. It was harsh.
That being said, I believe it is by far my strongest book to date. Comics covering the birth of said cuteness of being, the election of the nation’s first Black president, the recession..and so much more. Also included are strips never before seen. The book will be premiering at this year’s Comic-Com in San Diego. You’ll be able to pre-order on the site soon.

I love librarians. I used to be one for workstudy in college! I will be returning to the largest gathering of librarians in the U.S., the ALA Convention in Anaheim, this weekend at the Anaheim Convention Center (where Wondercon took place at coupla months ago).
I’ll have a table in Artist’s Alley. It many not say it on the event’s website yet, but I will be there. I’ll be discounting my stuff to help offset the financial mess public libraries face, so come on by!! I’ll also be doing a portion of my world famous slideshow on Sunday at 10:30am on the Graphic Novel stage, I believe. Details below (though no sign of location)
