Bravo, Keef. Thanks for the needed commentary on sad news. Clearly, based on the comment above, you’re work is getting a reaction, which is I think the sign of all great art.
Gosh, I sure love those brave commenters who leave their names and stand behind what they say with such panache and savoir faire. :) Keep up the good work, Keith, as always.
Dope commentary. So many allusions in a single panel comic — sticking a fork in justice (it’s done!), the South pre-civil rights segregation reference (hence the refusing service at the counter), the proof of slaughter with the blood on the apron, the closed eyes of the waitress with the “i’m better than you matter-of-factness” arrogant attitude, and the arched eye brow of the Davis character, who seems to be trying to figure out what is this really all about (who just wants his civil rights) is an example of why I share your work with my students. Good stuff.
Very good art, Keith. It’s a nIce break from reflecting on the sadness of the situation- really puts some depth and context into it. Thanks for sharing!

Keith, you’re always right on the money. Sadly, this time too.
Woulda worked better if there was blood on their hands …

I turn to cartoonists to get some clarity in this insane world. Thank you Keith.
Thank you! Well said.
Spot on. Another black man dead in Georgia.
And, judging from the first response you got, the Sons of the Confederacy like it that way.

I also love the subtlety of the way the window pane says “DIENER” as opposed to DINER
The whole world is watching.

Another outstanding commentary on a heinous crime. Thanks.
