Truth. If police didn’t have military weapons to easily draw on, it seems like fewer people would be shot. Any person with a gun is scary – even if it’s holstered, they always have that as an option. I remember never feeling so safe around police as in Ireland and UK – where they wear bright reflective clothing and no guns.
I agree. Having a gun to hand makes it easier to shoot first, and ask questions, later. And if you know you’ll be acquitted in court, why even think of talking?
