If the GOP loses a majority in the House next year, the pundits on the right will chalk it up to the incumbents not being conservative enough and run an even crazier batch of summabeetches. Maybe the Punch Poor People in the Mouth party.
The scary part is that a big chunk of the media is all too happy to make sure that America’s political memory is Very Short. The hard part is making sure that this doesn’t get buried and/or “retconned” before then.
The most delightful thing about this:
If the GOP loses a majority in the House next year, the pundits on the right will chalk it up to the incumbents not being conservative enough and run an even crazier batch of summabeetches. Maybe the Punch Poor People in the Mouth party.
The most horrible thing about that:
They’ll probably win.
They’re doing just enough damage to themselves that they’ve all but ensured they’ll lose in 2016. Which is a nice perk.
The scary part is that a big chunk of the media is all too happy to make sure that America’s political memory is Very Short. The hard part is making sure that this doesn’t get buried and/or “retconned” before then.
You actually have “rightie friends”??? Geez.
