If we can’t keep them out of it, what can we do for our children to minimize the damage done by the sausage machine? It seems more inescapable than ever! I’m talking more about the Economic System here, rather than the Police and Justice System. I can only see a future of slavish, exploitative work and no social security benefits at the end of it all. And that’s in the richest country in the world!

A recent PBS Newshour had a father who said he grew up in the “ghetto” but that his son didn’t, and he told his son that he could be whatever he wanted to be; but since a tragedy, he wondered if that was the wrong advice!
We have to believe that the system can be improved to make it more equal, and then find a way to do it. But, I don’t we’ll find the answer from Trump or Clinton. So, what do we do? How do we avoid our children becoming the next generation of sausages?
Truth Hurts: You keep fighting, at every level where you encounter racism. As a white dude once said, “the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” And over time, the tree does grow….
Both sides in a battle use that noble cause to justify their objectives. Patriotism is in the eye of the beholder. “Hooray for our side”. Anyway, the inequality I’m talking about covers more than just racism. It’s the economic sausage machine. Gonna need a lot of blood to grow that tree, if that’s the case…
