I wasn’t a big fan of his, but, I saw (on TV) his performance at the Super Bowl Halftime in Miami the night the skies opened up in a downpour as he took the stage. I don’t think anybody could have blamed him for saying “Performance canceled by downpour,” especially when he was out there with a ton of electrical gear. Instead, he totally ROCKED. You can’t overlook a performance under adverse conditions like that one!
@ Truth! Mixed feelings? Prince played 29 instruments and penned hits for everyone from Stevie Nicks to Chaka Kahn! His musical output from 1999 thru Sign of the Times can be matched by very few. Not to mention his guitar playing….
Okay, Keef. I stand corrected. He was a musical genius. I guess I’ve always been too old to be a Prince fan. No doubt the same thing has happened to you with other artists.
As Rod Serling used to say “Presented for your consideration”. May 15 marks the anniversary of the student killings at Jackson, MS in 1970. Yesterdays May 4th taskforce commemoration at Kent State also linked deaths at both schools with BLM, hosted keynote speaker Samaria Rice, livestreamed on boxcast.com if you’re interested. I admire your work & thought it might inspire something worthy of your talents. Thanks.
Keef doesn’t have to sweat blood with everything he does. He’s quite capable of deciding what’s ‘worthy of his talents’, without anyone telling him what to do.
Okay, Keef. You don’t need me defending you. I can see this isn’t one of those sites where everyone hurls insults at each other! (Not that it’s what I was trying to do, understand…)
I know: “De mortuis nil nisi bene!”, but to me he was just another “parfuemierte Blunzn” as we say in German.

Though I have mixed feelings about his musical genius, he was a genius at keeping his private life out of the public eye. How’d he do it, I wonder?
@NewNumber2–Just making up words at the end, I see.
can this image be purchased? if so, where on the site can it be done?
Thanks
