I have reached the point where I avoid most comment sections as it makes me sad about how much blind hatred can make it out onto the web. I know anonymity allows some people to troll or let their inner fears or hatred flow out but, c’mon. (And I do see the irony of posting about commenters in the comment section but somebody had to do it first).
Actually I am rather addicted to comments, like some sick disease, and your Patriot’s English is MUCH TOO good. Much. But yes. You’ve captured it exactly. Fortunately I usually read where there a goodly number of intelligent comments which give me hope, and often the idjut comments like those have 475 thumbs down, and 73 thumbs up. Frankly, even the 73 thumbs up frightens the shit out of me, but the thumbs down are encouraging.
Post racial has even moved to General Mills {too sad}…

PATRIOT’s semi-literate posting is just perfect. TOO rich.

Reminds me a little too much of the Fox News forums.
I stir up trouble in many of the comment sections. It’s amazingly easy to start a flame war.
