My husband has a teratoma as well. He was able to have roughly a third excised, but the rest remains. It’s in a really bad location under a kidney and between the aorta and the inferior vena cava, like a rotten apple. Those things are just gnarly. I’m glad the one that popped up in your wife was found and removed with a quickness.
