For someone who has such an eclectic drawing style, when you identified your guest star I said, “Yes, that’s him”. Well done. Additionally, while I don’t have a 3 letter Monogram that could be that inflammatory, the next time someone asks me what my middle initial stands for I think I will answer “It stands for F#@k You!” (Sure hope it isn’t during a job interview or while meeting someone’s parents).
I truly did laugh out loud at this one! I don’t have the initials, but the first three letters of my last name are SOB, I can play that one pretty good when I’m firing on all cylinders.
I remember him in Maude, but also for a bunch of smaller things, including a sweet turn in Steve Martin’s “The Jerk.” He’s outstanding! Y’know he only has nine fingers?
I really did meet him..We talked about “the Jerk” and tons of other stuff..It was great. I asked him if I could do a comic about it–and he was really enthusiastic.
It was actually a pretty heavy celeb week all around: Chatted with Tim Robbins at Shakespeare in the Park (for kids) put on by his group the Actor’s Gang…and Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz came into the other cafe I draw in.
I think I only watched one episode of Maude, but I still chuckle about one scene nearly 30 years later. And thanks to YouTube.com, I just watched it again! “Maude: Walter’s 50th Birthday 2/3” “I’m so excited, I could…”
I can’t help wondering if you pictured him in another role I remember him for: He starred in the screen version of Oh! Calcutta!, in which he, like the rest of the cast, was naked pretty much the whole time.

Ho… man… I “heard” panel 7 in Bill Macy’s voice… awesome!

See! Los Angeles IS fun! Really and truly it is!
Is this a true story?
Does Cee-Lo know about this conversation?
:D
That’s hilarious!
Here is Bill Macy’s IMDB page:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0534409/
It mentions the episode of “Hawthorne.”
Nice to see he’s still working.
And a great one yet again. Its a pity JJJ doesn’t make for a good joke, otherwise I could have a laugh too ;-D

Meeting Bill Macy in the coffee shop.

Gotta say, while I like “The Knight Life”, I like the “K Chronicles” even more.
cheers
Wow, Bill Macy, that’s cool!

Excellent! Thanks!
Bill Macy in the coffee shop… too bad he wasn’t in devil makeup with three of his friends.
