Here’s the difference, Keith. All were welcome in the Dead’s scene regardless of race, gender or anything else. I’ve always respected you and your comics, but this one missed the mark by a long way.

Hey google spell check drumpt is the original tribal spelling of trump, his grandpa changed it so tenants wouldn’t be leery of renting from a Germanic/Aryan sounding named landlord.You did hilariously depict certain Trump fans.
Also a strip on Candace Owens, Jesse Lee Peterson, Clarence Thomas, Ben Carson, & Thomas Sowell as colored Trump fans would be comical also
I am delighted to see the Washington Post website running daily Knight Life strips again. Could be (?) that these are reruns, but I’m happy to get my daily Knight Life fix any way I can.

The Dead’s fan base are all aging Boomers so I would not doubt for one second there’s a LOT of crossover between the fan bases.

Thankfully, most Dead fans who’ve written got a giggle out of this and didn’t take it as an attack on the band, or it’s following.
But the vitriol I have received reminds me of some of the hate mail I’ve gotten from–take a guess!
