At first I really wondered if this was tongue-in-cheek news….nope, it really happened. I mean, I could see “black on black” period for dark sauce on blackened chicken wings. Just plain dumb.
There is an encouraging note: when somebody told the guy this was flat-out tasteless, he not only apologized, he also asked the guy who complained to contribute the new name, which I thought was a decent gesture.
But, geeeeeeeeze! It would be like….well, I live in Tallahassee, and could you imagine if some restaurant introduced the Ted Bundy Burger? Or, a restaurant introducing Workplace Shooting Casserole? Eyeeewwww…….
While I am a vegetarian, I am still curious as to what is the taste was like. I mean name aside was the flavour any good or was this done simply to cover for a bad product?
And this restaurant actually thought this wouldn’t get them in hot water? Seriously?

I imagine they did it on purpose– hey, free advertising in the paper.
