Awww man!!  Apologies! I forgot to load the (th)ink for this week!   I hope to get it up over the weekend.

Speaking of the weekend!  I’m up in the lovely City by the Bay for the Alternative Press Expo!  I’ll be in my usual spot, right next to Steve “Bob the Angry Flower” Notley.  And I’ll be sharing a table with Culver City Cartoonist Collective members Lonnie Millsap and Ken Tanaka!!

APE is at the SF Concourse Exhibition Center from 10am-7pm, Sat/Sun.  Also, the Cartoon Art Museum is having a party Sat night.  (655 Mission St.)

To appease you all for not having a new (th)ink in place, I’m posting  “Read A Book!” , which is Not Safe For Work!!

I’ll be blogging about my travels to D.C. and Brooklyn soon, but for now, I’m posting a song of the week in honor of R.E.M. throwing in the towel.

R.E.M. ruled the college radio waves when I was a wee lad at Salem State College (now University!!), spinning vinyl on ye olde WMWM, 91.7fm , Salem State College radio.

I was always looking for  decent collisions of hip-hop and something else to play on my show. And this song of the week, a kick-ass collab between former Rip, Rig and Panic lead and Buffalo Stance singer Neneh Cherry and R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe is a great example of what my shows sounded like:
