EMAIL THE SEATTLE TIMES AT TIMESCOMICS@SEATTLETIMES.COM
The Seattle Times dropped my daily “The Knight Life”, whilst I was up there visiting my sister for the holidays!! I immediately staged an impromptu protest in front of their offices. I was even joined by an unemployed reader!!
But there’s a possibility they’d bring it back, if you email them demanding its return! Email timescomics@seattletimes.com and explain why my work belongs on the comics page.
If you ain’t familiar with my daily, see it here.
THE 2011 CALENDARS ARE HERE!!
So start ordering away! $12 each, 3 for $30!!
Hey man, I wish I had known, I totally would have joined you! I just discovered the strip and am busy digesting all of your archives. Your stuff is really smart and funny at the same time, reminds me a lot of Calvin and Hobbes. Cant wait to meet you at the Emerald City Comic Con (I discovered you through their website.)

(By the way, Hockey is awesome, but the Bruins? Really? You do know that the Flyers is where it’s at right?)
Great game, tonite, Mr. Matt the Drama Teacher…
I vote to keep the new comic “Thatababy”
Least favorite comics:
Rose is Rose
Get Fuzzy
Monty
Prickly City
Candorville
Family Tree
Guest comics: I like Rhymes with Orange very much. I think it’s a keeper.
Tundra is fun.
My favorite is Pearls before Swine followed by, in no particular order: Zits, For Better or Worse, Stone Soup, Betty, Crankshaft, Doonesbury, Pickles, LuAnn, Red and Rover, The Duplex, Baby Blues, Peanuts, Between Friends, Frank and Ernest.
Sometimes read: Family Tree, Shoe, Blondie, Monty, Get Fuzzy, Arlo and Janis, Frazz.
The remainder don’t amuse me or seem lacking in cleverness.
Difficult for me to understand why some fairly good comics (Twig) are dropped when it would be so much better to get rid of: Prickly City, Candorville, and MONTY. This new one “Reply All” is as inane as its title.
Really like Guest comics like Rhymes with orange and Tundra. Good additions. Don’t lose: Zits, For Bettr of Worse, Betty Crankshaft, Doonesbury, Between Friends and Shoe!!
I’m really enjoying Gil. He’s a great way to start the day with a laugh. It’s light and easy to read too…..truly comic.
Guest Comic Gil: terrible, lousy. Why not bring back Calvin and Hobbes like you did with Peanuts.
most guest comics come and go, but I feel like “Gil” was hands down the best in a long time. Thoughtful, inteligent it presented a very positive showcase for kids coping with our largely disfunctional world. I miss it. If you decide to update your roster of panels I would strongly support making Gil a permanent addition. Also a big shout out for “Luann”.
I would get rid of “Wizard of Id” in a heartbeat.
Re: the new comic, “Daddy’s Home” – I like it.
