The bible of the comics industry just put out their best of 2008 issue. It features interviews with cartoonist heroes Lynda Barry, Mike Luckovich and more. And a whole buncha Best Picks from industry pros.

Even more fabulous is the Comicopia column, where R.C. Harvey writes: “..along came the Knight Life by Keith Knight to rescue the funnies.” Nice!!

He finishes with a paragraph that cannot get any better: “The Knight Life is undeniably the best new laugh- and thought-provoker on the comics page. Not since Calvin and Hobbes has there been so novel an entertainment in the funnies.”

Are you kidding me? Woo-Hoo!!
