I have been readinig your comic for years and love it. I have
travelled the opposite route of you, living in SF after college before
eventually moving here to Jamaica Plain in Boston. There are some
similiarities to the cities, but walking around Washington Square in
North Beach on a sunny day cannot be topped. Your stories remind me of
my bachelorhood time there and my marriage life here.

Regarding you most recent comic, I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark at
Coolidge Corner followed by a shot by shot remake done by three boys
over a span of years, from when they were 12 to 17. Have you seen
this? It is unreal, amazing, and had the sold out audience laughing
in that wonderment way “oh my god how did they do that” and probably
like me, thinking back to their youth and roleplayiing in the backyard
and seeing their kid peers taking it to a new level. There’s a bar
fire and a submarine. Five minute standing ovation for the director
in attendance. Maybe you have some sway and can get Castro Theatre to
show them both.
